Rose & Thistle Floristry (“we”, “us”) is a family-run florist based in Oakhill, Somerset. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you use our website, roseandthistle.florist, or our services.

What we collect. When you contact us through our enquiry form, by email or by phone, we collect your name, contact details and any information you share about your order or event. If you buy from our online shop, we also collect billing and delivery details. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

How we use it. We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, take and deliver orders, and run workshops. If you tick the sign-up box we may send occasional news by email; you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your details or share them with third parties for their marketing.

Legal bases. We process your data to fulfil a contract with you (orders and bookings), with your consent (newsletter sign-up), or where we have a legitimate interest (responding to enquiries and keeping simple business records).

Cookies and analytics. Our website is built on Squarespace, which uses essential cookies to make the site work and analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use it. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it. We keep enquiry and order information only as long as it is needed for the purpose we collected it, and for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights. Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it.
